I’ve got a couple of questions / things I’d appreciate help with:

    1) I’m wanting to add the search box to the main nav menu bar on … I’ve seen this done on other WordPress builds but can’t seem to figure it for Abundance.

    2) I’m wanting to add a ‘flyout’ menu to the sidebar menu so that the product subcategories can fly out to the right from the menu. Even if I code this in HTML by hand, I can never seem to get the flyout submenus to sit full width…they always seem to be chopped off by the width of the sidebar as opposed to sitting ‘on top’ of this as it were.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Don’t suppose anyone has any suggestions on this?

1.) you would need to remove the get_search_form(); call in header.php and place it at the end of line 153

this will put the form in the correct place, but you will need to modify your css to make the form blend in and look good

2.) not sure what exactly you mean, but the chopping of the flyout probably happens because of the overflow properties that are set to “hidden” for both sidebar and widgets.

you can remove them in style.css line 658 and 641

PS: please dont bump threads, the way our support queue works is that older posts get served first. Bumping a thread only pushes it to the end of the support queue ;)
