Abundance Mega Menu and Menu Manager issue

Hi,

I tried to move my localhost site to my server but it's was not successful. So I am recreating a lot of my content, including all of my menus. When I try to add a long list of product/page to link to under each of the column of the mega menu, it seems to only save about 10ish. So inconsistent, its difficult to figure out what's happening. I deactivated and reactivated the theme - not change. I checked for updates, I'm all up to date.

Can you help me figure out what is happening with menu manager? It worked like a charm when I created these menus.

Hi Lyse,

Definitely sounds frustrating, sorry about that! Just in case you had not tried it already, try turning off any additional plugins you might have installed and running. For the short term, you can save the menu more frequently and that should eliminate any loss of structure.

If you could also do a short screen recording with http://www.screenr.com/ so that we can see exactly what steps you are taking and whats happening that will go a long way in trying to diagnose a bug.

Hi Devin,

I deactivated all of the plugins.....still the problem exists. I tried screen recording as you suggested, but even though I installed Java, it does not detect it.

The steps I take to create my menu/mega menu is exactly as per the video!

Hey,
this is a server issue. If you search for suhosin ( http://www.kriesi.at/support/search.php?q=suhosin ) you'll find some user hints which might help you. If you're not familiar with the server configuration, etc. please ask your hoster to change it for you.

Hi Dude,

I had my host change the suhosin configuration as recommended. All works well. I was able to create my mega menus successfully.

Hi,

Just an update. I had my host increase the suhosin configuration values to 10000 and still I cannot add additional items on my main menu. There has to be another reason why this is happening because I only want to add 4 new items to my menu.
