    Hi team,

    Details:
Hi, my wordpress site is located at user/public_html/wp/. I have placed a copy of the index.php in the root and the .htaccess file to point back to the wp directory. This works and makes my site appear that is at the root at “mysite.com”.

    Problem:
I do not get a 404 error page when a bogus address is typed in, whereas on another wordpress site in it’s own directory has Enfolds’s 404 page show up when a bogus address is typed in, no problem. So, I believe the problem has to be related to the “point-to-the-root” fix I did on the main site.

    Attempts to correct:
I have placed an “ErrorDocument 404 /wp/wp-content/themes/enfold/404.php” in the .htaccess file in the user/public_html/ directory (root) but I continue to get a blank white page when a bogus address is enterd, not the 404 error page.

    Any help would be awesome.

    Thanks

    Hey Robert P.!

That is more related to a hosting issue and configuration based on each hosting provider.
Best case scenario is to contact your hosting company, to get that type of issue solved please.

Feel free to let us know if we can do anything else regarding our theme.

    Thank you very much

    Best regards,
    Basilis

    Hey,

Just an update. It was the iThemes Security plugin>I turned off 404 Detection settings and, et viola, they returned! :)

Thanks all the same for you kind support.

    Cheers
