If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
I would like to add Google Ads on my blog page and in particular Google Text Ads. I would like to show these next to my Header title. I have made an example in Photoshop that you can see here: http://imgur.com/wYahUeE
Where should I place to Google Adsense code that the ads appear at this place?
At the moment I did it with placing the Adsense code in the header.php file, all the way at the bottom. But now it is on every page and I only want the ads to be shown in the blog sections. Furthermore, I want the ads to be on the same line as the title “Big Data Blog”: http://www.bigdata-startups.com/blog/. So I guess changes should be made in the CSS instead of the header.php file?
You’ll need to look into a freelance developer to assist you fully with adding them in like that. Alternatively, you can look into plugins that give you the kind of control you are looking for without the need to write conditional code/functions specifically for your use.
The div you’ve added in now is above the content so it isn’t able to get pushed into the same line as the blog title and still look the same when as the theme responds to browser size. So css wouldn’t really be able to fix/adjust it.
