Hello,

Hoping this is a relatively easy question to answer.

Where I can increase the number of posts under the "Latest News" area from 3 to 5? I can't find where this is done. PLease help.

Never mind. Found it in the code. For anyone else who was looking to add more posts, simply change the showposts number from 3 to what ever you need.

Hm, I can´t find that code in functions.php I am trying to increase the number of exerpts shown on my homepage, and can´t figure out how. My sidebar is really long so there is a big blank space in the main body column once the post exerpts paginate.

Hey,

The code in functions.php is only for the widget - what you're looking to do is actually set by WordPress options under Settings -> Reading.

Just change 10 posts to a larger number (experiment to find the right balance).
