    Hello,

    I am using the Coherence theme and want to add a pattern background or a background image to the header. In the Styling section I see that I can change the color, but I wanted to add a pattern in that area to make it more stylish, rather than just a solid color.

    Is this possible?

    Please advise.

    Sincerely,

    William

    Hi William,

    I think its possible. Try to do these:

    1. Go to wp-content/themes/coherence/images and upload the pattern

    2. Go to wp-content/themes/coherence/css/custom.css and on the bottom part add this code:

    #header .container {
    background: url('../images/the_pattern.png');
    }

    If this code doesn’t work try using this instead:

    #header .container {
    background: url('../images/the_pattern.png') !important;
    }

    Change the ‘the_pattern.png’ with name and file extension of the image. Hope this helps. :)

    Regards,

    Ismael
