I am trying to add a background image to each page using the gallery setting for that page but every time I add an image to the slideshow, then update, the image is gone when the edit page refreshes. I am adding the image via the Gallery Options for that page, clicking add to Slideshow, I can see it there, I then also select ‘Hide controls’, then click update on my page as usual, but it then all disappears, back to no images in the gallery and ‘Show Controls’ is selected. Help! thanks…February 18, 2014 at 4:22 pm #225536
I have just tried this in another browser and it still isn’t working – Safari & Chrome. Any help on this appreciated…February 19, 2014 at 1:44 pm #226157February 19, 2014 at 1:54 pm #226160
Please try to increase the allocated memory to 128M http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/fix-wordpress-memory-exhausted-error-increase-php-memory/

I’ve changed the wp-config file to 128M – no change. The slideshow images I add disappear from the edit page on refresh. I don’t understand why this is a memory issue… my images are around 200KB so not large. I’ve also tried with a very small image and the same problem. I add the image, see it in the slideshow settings, click update and when the page refreshes they have disappeared from the slideshow settings.February 19, 2014 at 3:52 pm #226239February 19, 2014 at 10:16 pm #226465February 21, 2014 at 12:55 pm #227429
1) Please update WordPress & Flashlight to the latest version. The latest theme version is: 2.5. Please use ftp: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750 to update the theme files.
2) If the update doesn’t help try to deactivate all third party plugins and check if the issue persists. If not, activate the plugins one by one to find the culprit.
3) If 1+2) don’t solve the issue create us an admin account and post the login credentials as private reply.

I can’t reproduce the issue. I set two different images on this page: http://tanyadavis.ca/wp-admin/post.php?post=9&action=edit&message=1 and both images saved properly. I tagged this thread for the other support staff members – maybe they can reproduce the issue.
