    hi, is there a way to add a tumblr button next to the twitter and facebook buttons and link it with my tumblr blog accordingly?

    Hello,

    On your sidebar.php, look for

    `if($twitter = avia_get_option(‘twitter’)) echo “<li class=’twitter’><a href=’http://twitter.com/”.$twitter.”‘>Twitter</a></li>”;’

    Put this line below it.

    echo "<li class='tumblr'><a href='http://tumblr.com/YOUR ACCOUNT'>Tumblr</a></li>";

    Change the YOUR ACCOUNT to your tumblr account.

    You can style it on your custom.css using this selector.

    .social_bookmarks .tumblr a{background: transparent url(../images/skin-minimal/icons-rounded-tumblr.png) 0 0 no-repeat;}

    Note: icons-rounded-tumblr.png doesn’t exist so you have to create a .png image for it and put it on images > skin-minimal folder.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Ismael

    thanks! that did work.. kind of. what happened was, i couldn’t find a tumblr icon that matched the twitter and facebook icons on the dark skin style i was using, so i found three matching icons to replace all three with.. and it worked, the 3 icons are showing up, but they are overlapping one another, like there’s not enough room in the box they are in or something. is there any way to make that box a little bigger so that the icons dont overlap?

    Hi gordonaf,

    There’s two ways of going about this.

    1) Resize the new icons to 28px x 28px then re-upload to your server

    2) Change the CSS to match the new icon size

    Personally speaking, I would go with #1 since increasing the width/height of the icons via CSS may cause other areas to break. Here’s the code though if you want to use CSS.

    .social_bookmarks a {
    height: 26px;
    width: 26px;
    }

    You’ll want to add this to your Quick CSS box under Flashlight > Styling. Make sure to change 26 to the width/height of your icon.

    Regards,

    Mya
