Adding a widget zone in the home page

Hello!

I am trying to decide between the Cleancut theme and the Avisio one. As I love the Testimonials of this theme, is it possible to add a widget zone at the bottom of the page, similar to the Avisio one or the theme you have in this page? Is it too complicated for a no programmer person? Thank you in advance for your support.

For a no-programmer person it might be a little complicated but it would be easy for someone who knows wordpress. so if you want to hire a freelancer for that job (that probably takes an hour or two) feel free to ask some of the guys in this thread:

At the end I have just bought the cleancut theme. Firtst I will try to add by myself the sidebar at the bottom of the homepage.
