    Hi,

    I need an additional navigation to this VELVET theme like in CORONA here (at the top: “home | contact | sitemap”):

    http://www.kriesi.at/themes/corona/

    Is this possible for an PHP-amateur like me, to get an additional navigation to VELVET, for example with plugins, if it is too complex with editinig the theme files?

    Thanks.

    Hey,

    it’s imho not an easy task especially because you need style and reposition the menu, etc. but I can give you small hints regardinf the php code:

    The standard menu is called with:

    $args = array('fallback_cb' => 'avia_fallback_menu', 'theme_location' => 'avia');
    wp_nav_menu($args);

    You can create another one with:

    $args = array('fallback_cb' => 'avia_fallback_menu', 'theme_location' => 'avia2');
    wp_nav_menu($args);

    In functions.php replace:

    register_nav_menu('avia', THEMENAME.' Main Menu');

    with:

    register_nav_menu('avia', THEMENAME.' Main Menu');
    register_nav_menu('avia2', THEMENAME.' Top Menu');

    ok, thank you … I will give it a try, but I guess I’ll have too less knowledge concerning editing theme files. But thanks for your help.
