Adding additional space after a patagraph – break tags?

Hi,

I a little puzzled by this. In a text block, I have several paragraphs of content which I would like to space out a little more between the paragraphs. I have tried adding a break tag <br> tag but found this to be too much and adding <p> is of no use.. it just gets removed by the editor.

I then added:
[av_hr class='invisible' height='20' shadow='no-shadow' position='center' custom_border='av-border-thin' custom_width='50px' custom_border_color='' custom_margin_top='30px' custom_margin_bottom='30px' icon_select='yes' custom_icon_color='' icon='ue808' font='entypo-fontello' admin_preview_bg='']

…which works but makes the editor look far too busy when figuring out what the content is.

Is there a better way to do this?
