    Hi,

    I can’t find a workaround for this:

I have a set of 9 images for a portfolio item and the top one is used for the preview. I have added captions to the images and edited the alternative text field. It seems that doing this causes the image to not have the greyscale preview. Because I followed the advice of an earlier thread and

    1) re-generate new thumbnails = no effect

    2) re-load image = greyscale preview overlay works

    3) add caption to the image = ‘displays in colour’ bug has returned

I notice that if I do step 2) and altname and caption the image the naming and caption does not remain when I return to ‘show’ the images attributes.

I’m wondering if I need to reload all 9 images, but this is quite time consuming

I’m hoping some other users have experienced this and have found a workround.

    Thanks

    Toby

Looks like the way to go is to start that post again.

    Hi Toby,

What is the URL for the site? I’ve never encountered anything like that and I in trying to re-create it on my local install I’m not getting the same result.

    Devin

    Hi Devin,

I think it must’ve been a session specific problem as I don’t have it happening now. I’m going to re-enter that portfolio item and if it reoccurs then I’ll give you the URL and you can take a look.
