    I have question for Kriesi,

I’m not an experienced WP user …

    1. is there any particular reason why CSS files are not registered in functions.php and enqueued in header.php like javascript files (I’m using bwp-minify to save extra HTTP requests)

    2. Why Kriesi not use the function set_transient ( as mentioned at (Purchase code hidden if logged out) -probably-dont-know ) and cache the Related Posts, Related Portfolio posts, etc for at least 1 hour, as this should be a problem with blogs with 5,000+ posts and 650+ posts with the same tag

I marked this thread for Kriesi’s attention.

    Best regards,

1.) Because most ser find it easier to directly use the css files written the “normal” way and since there shouldn’t occur any problems that might occur with javascript (where a second set of the jquery core file could kill the whole template) I use the traditional way :)

2.) actually not a bad suggestion. truth to be told, I have never thought about it since I have never encountered someone with that many posts. I might add that feature, but in any case, if you have that much content you should definitley run a caching plugin anyways :)
