Adding images to product pages

   I have a query related to the product images on product pages. Via the add media button I can select the uploaded to this post button to see all products attached to the post and currently displaying - deleting or dropping new images is possible, but not adding an image that is already in the media library.

   My question is how would I now add another image already in the media library to the post, but only to show in the left gallery section. Currently I can only see/select an image from the library via looking at all images via the with all media items - then selecting the insert into post option. This then puts the image in the description not the gallery section...

   What is the answer to this problem?

   Hi stevedegal,

   As far as I know you can only have an image attached to a single post/page/custom post type at a time. If an image isn't alrady, you should be able to create a new gallery and then after inserting that gallery to the post (delete it) and save. The gallery should now be the one used.

   The process is a little messy but the next big update from WooCommerce will be adding a new method for attaching multiple images which should help.
