If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
I will first off apologize for this question but for the life of me cannot figure out how to add image to the slider. I’ve gotten as far as needing to add them to the slider entries but that’s it. How do you add the images? And text (as seen in the examples – I want to have images like the second slide that comes up “Avisio, a theme with unlimited color options”). Right now this site will not have a blog so I don’t want these slide entries to be visible to the public.
Also, will you be adding any styling for lists? i.e. Arrows?
Thanks for helping a newbie!
to add images to the slider go to “SLIDESHOW ENTRIES > Add New”. There you can enter a description text and headline and certain other options (i.e. links, etc.). To add an image you need to click on “Set featured image” located on the right side – choose an image from the gallery after the popup window opens.
2) Avisio already comes with a list styling. Have a look at the demo here: http://www.kriesi.at/themes/avisio/a-little-about-you/html-styles/
Dude, you are the Dude! I knew it was an easy fix. One – I didn’t see the link at the bottom of the dialog box after uploading the image to “use as featured image”. And two – for some reason, the URL upload doesn’t seem to be working, but that’s all right.
Now working great, can’t wait to implement the site. Huge weight off my shoulders.
I think I will add some different styling for the lists but I appreciate the link.
Great job to all you guys!
