Adding "Latest News Widget" to the footer makes everything bold

Hi,

Adding "Latest News Widget" to the footer makes everything getting bold in the footer and also the text color in the footer for the post entries (name of post) appears to be the same as in the body of the theme... this is a problem since the footer usually is in contrast to the body color...

Forgot to mention that every post in the footer, through the widget of the theme is also delivering this "pen" icon in the footer what makes it really not looking so nice...
