Question: Within the portfolio section of Avisio, can you add more than one photo to a portfolio item. For example: We are a custom home builder. I would like to have a portfolio item called “House A”. I would enter a description below the item and then when the featured photo is clicked for “House A”, I could have multiple photos of that home…instead of the 2nd photo being another portfolio item/post.

I hope this make sense. Refer to http://www.chadcahill.com/wordpress

    thanks,

Sorry, the Portfolio wasn’t designed to handle more than one image.

It is possible to modify the theme to do this, if you need someone to do this for you check out this Theme Forest topic:

Have you considered taking them to a post when they click on the portfolio item and inside the post have a gallery or even a slideshow?

@bridorid: You may want to give your logo a transparent background and save it as a .png file. That will eliminate the white that shows up.

Thank you for the replies. @batesy thanks for the tip. I have sent my logo to a designer to do this for me.

Ok. I still think I can make this work. Now, I am trying to add additional Portfolio Pages….and can’t seem to figure out how. Here is what I want to do. When someone hovers over “Portfolio” I would like a drop down of “portfolio” pages. Then, when they select a portoflio to view, it takes them to a page where all the image thumbnails are located. They can then choose an image to view.

I tried to create a new portfolio page and name “Portfolio” as the parent. What am I doing wrong?!

    Thanks.
