I’m not sure if there is an easy way to do this with the Abundance Theme and WordPress 3.51

    I am selling some arrows that have different options that can be added when someone buy them. For example;

Currently, I have them where they can be purchased as bare shafts, but with an arrow you can have these options. Each option does have an extra chagre

    Cut to length – $1.50

Lone Peak Crest Wraps – $7.00

Standard EZE Crest Wraps – $9.50

Elite EZE Crest Wraps – $12.00

    3 Fletched Solid Blazer – $5.00

    3 Fletched NAP Quickspin – $9.00

What I’m looking for is an easy way to offer these options to the buyer. I know I could do this with variants, but I’m wondering if there is a different way to go about this. Like, with checkbox selections? Or adding a second product to a single product??

Here is (1) product I have with variants; (Purchase code hidden if logged out) -vanes/

    Thank you,

    Hi Kelly,

The only way would be with variations. So each Arrow would start at the Basic shaft and then you would add variations that are selectable via dropdowns.

Variations by themselves are a bit difficult to get setup but the basic idea is to add your attributes in Products>attributes which will then have the terms.

So just a guess you would have:

    – Cut

    – Wraps

    – Fetching?

Then the terms for each those attributes would be the actual options. Eg:

Wraps> Lone Peak Crest, Standard EZE Crest, Elite EZE Crest Wraps.

Then you go to the product and add the Attributes, update it and then you can go to the Variations tab and combine the Variations to make individual products and prices/images/skus etc.

    Hi Devin,

Yes, I can add them using the variations. I was just wondering if there was another way.

    Thank you so much!
