Adding new widget area

   Hi, i want to ad an extra widget area to the top of the pages to ad my adsense's banner. Is possible to do it in the theme (by modifing some features) or i nbeed a plugin?

   Hi heavymetaller,

   I found a tutorial with a quick google search that might help you adding a widget area to the header.php here: http://www.studiograsshopper.ch/code-snippets/how-to-add-a-widgetised-area-in-a-wordpress-theme/

   A plugin is also definitely an option. I'm not familiar with any offhand but with how popular ads are I am sure there is one that will fit your needs.
