    how can I add pictures above the titles on the homepage 1/4 width widgets?

    add a text widget and insert following code:

    <img src="my-image.jpg" alt="" title="" />

    Instead of my-image.jpg enter the path to your image.

    If you display posts or pages in the mainpage columns you can use the featured image function to display images. Go to your page/post editor and on the right sidebar you’ll see a “set featured image” option.

    first off, wanted to say thanks for the great support on these themes, its awesome.

    if I do a page or a post as a content source, how can I control what content is displayed on the homepage?

    also is there any way to redirect the read more button to a different page if I do this?

    If you use a page everything will be displayed (whole page content, if you use a post the excerpt will be displayed.

    To change the read more link open up /framework/classes/kclass_display_box.php and find this code:

    echo '<a href="'.get_permalink().'" class="more-link">Read more</a>';

    Replace it with:

    $new_link = get_post_meta($post->ID, "url", true);

    if($new_link) {
    echo '<a href="'.$new_link.'" class="more-link">Read more</a>';
    } else {
    echo '<a href="'.get_permalink().'" class="more-link">Read more</a>';

    This will dynamically select the $new_link if it exists otherwise default to the permalink.

    Afterwards you need to go to WP admin and edit your post you want to display in the mainpage column and create a custom field called “url”. Enter the URL here that you want to point the Read More to, i.e

    awesome, thanks!

    Glad that I could help you :)
