Im trying to play a video from my private streaming service in the “Full Size Picture or Video for Lightbox”.
I get an error if i paste the streaming code. The only way I have been able to get it to work is by using the “iframe=true” parameter. But when the Lightbox opens, the iframe cuts the video off in both the width and height.
Is there a way to resize the iframe? Or is there a better way to get the streamed video to play?
Thanks for any help
You can use flowplayer wrapper or fv flowplayer: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/fv-wordpress-flowplayer/ , http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/flowplayer-wrapper/ to display flv videos on your portfolio single entry page. The portfolio page itself (columns) doesn’t support flv videos as prettyphoto can’t play them.
Thanks for the reply. I can play flvs in the main portfolio by using the embed code from the streaming site.
The streaming site already provides a player, and can provide a valid html page with the player embedded.
What I really want to be able to do is point to this page in the PrettyPhoto lightbox. Is there a way to do this??
Have a look at the official site: http://www.no-margin-for-errors.com/projects/prettyphoto-jquery-lightbox-clone/
It gives yousome iframe examples:
<a href="http://www.google.com?iframe=true&width=100%&height=100%" rel="prettyPhoto[iframes]" title="Google.com opened at 100%">Google.com</a>
<a href="http://www.apple.com?iframe=true&width=500&height=250" rel="prettyPhoto[iframes]">Apple.com</a>
<a href="http://www.twitter.com?iframe=true&width=400&height=200" rel="prettyPhoto[iframes]">Twitter.com</a>
You can change the width and height attributes as you like.
