    Hi,

    I am trying to add floating buttons on my blogs (www.bigdata-startups.com/blog) and I have installed the Addthis wordpress plugin. When I enable Bottom Sharing tool and use the custom code I should see floating sharing icons. But unfortunately nothing happens. This is the code I use:

    <!– AddThis Button BEGIN –>

    <div class=”addthis_toolbox addthis_floating_style addthis_counter_style” style=”left:50px;top:50px;”>

    </div>

    <script type=”text/javascript” src=”//s7.addthis.com/js/300/addthis_widget.js#pubid=undefined”></script>

    <!– AddThis Button END –>

    When I add this code into single.php they do show up but of course completely useless.

    How can I ensure that the floating sharing buttons work within this theme?

    Thanks and kind regards,

    Mark

    Personally I couldn’t find any instructions for floating icons on the plugin page: http://wordpress.org/plugins/addthis/ and I’m not sure if the plugin even supports this styling. The standard icons seem to work fine though.

    You can try to use another plugin like: http://wordpress.org/plugins/sharexy/ or http://wordpress.org/plugins/floating-social-media-icon/screenshots/ for a floating icon bar.
