    I am using Enfold 3.0.4 and since the update to WordPress 4.1 the Text tab has become the default view for text blocks in the Advanced Layout Builder – the Visual tab was always the default before WP 4.1 – I nearly always want to use the Visual tab and it’s annoying to keep having to keep switching from the Text tab every time I want to edit a text block.

    In the thread at kriesi.at/support/topic/advanced-layout-builder-visual-tab/ it was recommended to downgrade WordPress to 4.0.1 – in my view this is very bad advice, WordPress should always be kept updated from the security viewpoint.

    Is this going to be fixed in the next update?

    Please go to Users > Your Profile and make sure that you have not checked “Disable the visual editor when writing”

    Hey!

    We really haven’t gotten into fixing this because it doesn’t seem to be a major issue. For now, please switch to the visual mode when editing on a text block. We’ll forward this one to Kriesi.

    It would be great if it could be fixed, it’s not making any difference to the website, but it is annoying and time consuming when making multiple tweaks and previews on pages.
