Hi,
I have seen this question asked on the forum 9 months ago, but there was no solution. Is it possible to do it now? I guess there must be a bit of coding to add in the .js but I can't figure out what to do ...

Hi Alex,

Not that I know of no. I'll tag Kriesi on the topic to see if he knows of a way to change that for the main background slideshow without causing any issues.

It would be wonderful. And if there are any possibilities to scale the images it would be even better (so they have a frame).

Hey! Since this feature has never been requested by anyone else, chances are low that we ever going to add it.
The Features that are requested often usually take too much of our time to take every single feature reuest into account, sorry.
(Latest example is the improved gallery management that we are going to add in version 2.0.)

You can always choose to hire a JS developer to pull that off for you.
