    Hello,

    It seems like the top of the sidebar is a bit higher than the top of the first featured image, which to me looks a bit asymmetrical.Is there a way to bump the sidebar down a bit to even it up with the top of the first featured image?

    I also noted that there are shading differences in the Search and Recent Comments widgets. How do I correct this so it looks uniform?

    My website is http://www.therealestaterealist.com/ for reference.

    Hi,

    In your style.css you’ll find

    .sidebar {
    float: left;
    left: -1px;
    min-height: 150px;
    padding: 20px;
    position: relative;
    width: 190px;
    }

    Change the padding to:

    padding: TOP RIGHT BOTTOM LEFT;

    ^I suggest you change TOP to 30px or 40px and the others at 20px, so:

    padding: 30px 20px 20px 20px;

    The shading:

    in your style2.css you’ll find

    .sidebar_top

    You’ll also find that there is a background image set:

    url("../images/skin2/bg_sidebar_top.png")

    removing this background image will remove the shading and thus the difference.
