    there where no pictures shown in my child theme
    no mather what format (png, gif, jpg)
    the dummy pictures also
    Could you please help?

    Can you please check if the issue persists with the default WordPress theme activated?

    It is OK, 755 is the permissions setting the uploads folder should have in order to work preoperly.
