We have alt tags on all images on our site, but our Moz plugin says there aren’t any. From what I’ve found trying to resolve the problem it’s an issue with the theme; however I’m still not sure how to go about fixing this. Any suggestions?

    Hey XTGlobal!

I would contact whoever created the plugin and let them know about this. If your trying to work on your SEO then I recommend checking out the WordPress SEO plugin.

Ah sorry, bad wording. I put the alt tags in wordpress (no plugin) but our source code and moz analytics say they don’t exist. From what I could find it looked like something that had to be changed in the theme’s header.php file?

    Hi!

I’m unsure of what images you mean, could you point to a specific one on a specific page please?

    Best regards,

    Hi!

Background images don’t have alt tags because the image is displayed with CSS. Your image is visible to search engines here: http://27c.d06.myftpupload.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/FeaturesPayment-copy.jpg
