If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
Ok, I need help understanding how to organize what I’m trying to do. I am trying to create a site where there are “Features” which would include “Reviews” and “Editorials” (and then within reviews, I would also want “Action”, “Strategy”, etc). This constitutes larger articles that would be given front page prominence.
Secondly, I want to create a category called “Blogs” with subcategories of “Gaming” and “Non-gaming”.
1) All of these need to be self contained. Should I, rather, think of the subcategories as their own seperate and unique categories (thus removing the “Features” and “Blogs” supercategories)?
2) WordPress seems to consider all “posts” as blog entries. Would I need to create custom template .php’s for every section?
Basically, between pages, posts, categories and templates, I have no idea how to organize my site as I post things.
