Hi,
I'm running a website with WooCommerce and the Abundance Theme, I just want to clarify the Google Analytics Tracking implementation.
The theme has an input field for the Tracking Code, WooCommerce also has a field to input the tracking code.
My question is: should I be putting the tracking code in both the theme settings and in the WooCommerce settings, or should I prefer one over the other. The WooCommerce Analytics setting has an option "Add tracking code to your site's footer. You don't need to enable this if using a 3rd party analytics plugin" - should I enable this option and consider the theme as the 3rd party analytics plugin?
Second to this, if I had to install the Yoast Analytics plugin, should I set the tracking code in the Theme, WooCommerce and the Yoast plugin or is this redundant and will it slow down the site?
Thanks,
Lawrence
