    Hi

I would like to apply link to a whole column box. I have added to functions.php the code for custom CSS types on elements and the code from https://kriesi.at/support/topic/apply-link-to-column-box/ and followed the instructions but I can’t see anywhere to put the link.

    Any help appreciated.

    Hey philoakley!

Can you please provide us a link to your web site so we can see the code used if applied correctly?

    Thanks a lot

    Basilis

    Hi
The site is currently closed so I have created a username and password in the private content box.

    Many thanks

    Hi,

Thanks for the login, not sure exactly what it is you want to link though, maybe the 1/4 elements? You could try adding a code block at the top of the element in question with an open link in it: <a href="#">, and then close it in another code block at the end: </a>

    Hi Rikard

Thanks, I have tried that on the home page on the 3rd of the 1/3 element but it does not appear to work for me.

    Can you help please?

    Regards
    Phil

    Hi Rikard
Sorry it appears that as I had a link already on one of the elements this broke the column link. I have removed these and just used your solution and if works great. Thanks so much.

I presume the code for fuctions.php mentioned in the previous post is not required, or is it?

    Kind regards
    Phil

    Hi,

Ok, great! I don’t think you should have to add anything to functions.php if the solution I gave you is working :-)

    Cheers!
    Rikard
