    I’m splitting my blog betwwen two categories, “Jobs” and “News”. Is it possible to set a header background image with will be in effect for an entire category and it’s posts?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi jobsource1,

    Sure, you can use some css to target each category and add a background image to the header background area:

    #top.category-4 #header_background {
    background-color: #333;
    background-image: URL(yoursite.com/image.png);

    You need to get the category id number to use in the css to identify it and add the image to your needs. You can use basic background image css to have the image repeat or not and how you want it positioned.

    That’s great. Thanks for that.
