There is no option to display an Archive per category...
This would be very usefull.
You made this nice widget for the latest news' which offers this, if would be a very welocome addition to also have a widget like this for the archive.
Any idea's how to achive this now?
Maybe make a quick kriesi add on widget we can d/l?
PS: please add it to future themes

You'd like a widget that displays the archive of a category? In the standard footer here you'll see "Categories", this is a list of the archives for that category. This also comes as the Categories Widget.
Am I missing something?
Or would you like to have a widget that just shows the "latest news from category X"?

Sorry if i'm not clear enough.
Wat i mean is to be able to display the archive of a specific category .
Now there is the archive widget, but there is no option to select a specific category.
So i want to display the archive of category x.
Do you understand what i mean?
I think this would be a very powerfull option and make the themes more dymanic.

I think this plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/list-category-posts/ will do what you want. It displays all posts of a specific category.

Hi Dude,
The plugin you suggest is kinda the same as the 'latest news' widget that comes with your themes.
Look at the WP archive widget, there is not option to select a category like you can do in Kriesi's 'latest news' widget.
I need an archive widget where you can select categories...
