Hello,
I'd like to ask the following question:
how can I assign a costum template to a portfolio item? The "Layout" menu is not available on the "Edit Portfolio Entry" page . It's availabe for single posts though.

In case it's not possible to create custom templates for portfolio items:
How can I add the "Heading" that is used for all other pages to the portfolio items php template? I'd like to keep the layout consistent and currently the portfolio item doesn't follow the layout of the other pages.

Me too please. I've tried to add a custom sidebar to the page displaying the portfolio but it is being ignored.

Hi,

sorry for the delay. My fault.
It's currently not possible to assign custom templates to single portfolio pages, however, you can edit the template file. This can be found in
propulsion\includes\loop-portfolio-single.php

For example, you can add a piece to the title here:
<?php echo "<h1 class='post-title portfolio-single-post-title'>".get_the_title()."</h1>"; ?>
Make sure to keep a backup before you go in and remove/edit things, you might accidentally remove something important without noticing.

Hello Chris,
thanks for your reply. Can you give some help to give the single portfolio page more structure and make it fit the design of the other templates of the theme. Currently the single portfolio page just looks like a generic post page.
Is it e.g. possible to publish the code of the single portfolio page of the angular theme ?

I don't have the angular source code available. Maybe you can publish the code of the single portfolio item here and/or the support team can give some advice.

Well, the single portfolio page uses the single-portfolio.php and the includes\loop-portfolio-single.php file as the main elements. You can edit these to change the order of things or even to change classes. It's beyond the scope of the support forum to create you a custom layout for this.
