    Is there a way with Habitat to have the comment colour for the author of an article have a different background colour to the rest of the comments.

    I found this (Purchase code hidden if logged out) -way/” class=”bbcode_url”>article but can’t work out how to translate those suggestions into Habitat.

    Can anyone assist?

    At the end of style.css (wp-content/themes/habitat)

    You can add a line like this:

    .comment-author-admin > div > div { background-color: #74A0CC !important; }

    This is pretty ugly, so play with the color.

    Best regards,

    Cheers Noah.

    However, that only works for an administrator of the site.

    Is there a way for it to do the same but only for the author of that specific post? Or if it’s easier for by group, such as the ‘Contributors’ group?

    Try something like

    .bypostauthor > div > div { background-color: #74A0CC !important; }

    Best regards,

    Works a charm. Cheers mate!

    Glad that Noah could help you.

    I tried this, but it didn’t work :(

    Any suggestions?
