What is/How to use: autodetect button for finding color of background image?

This is what is says at my “Background Color” option: Choose a background color for the part that is outside of the ‘boxed content’. If you have set a background image bellow you can use the autodetect button to get the color at the edge of the image.

But I’m not sure how it works or if it’s working?

    Thanks so much, Jay

this feature seems to have disappeared in one of the updates, I’ll notify Kriesi about this. For the time being you can just pick any color you’d like.

Thanks Chris. I just eyeballed the color and did a little trial and error, it’s pretty close, but nice to have the auto method next update…

I think it’s just a text leftover. Kriesi used the feature in Broadscope to adjust the color of the fullwidth slider. However he used the same framework for Brightbox and just forgot to delete the text/description.
