I’m adding a link to my client’s vimeo account in a footer widget. Somewhere, a script is adding a rel=”lightbox[auto_group10] to the . I presume that a script is detecting the vimeo address and trying to open it in a lightbox? I have a twitter link that is not receiving the attribute. How can I prevent this vimeo link from receiving the lightbox attribute (without disabling the lightbox in general)? Do you know where it would be coming from in the code?
My client site is: http://garretthubbard.com
I have temporarily hidden the vimeo link in the bottom right because of the issue mentioned.
You can add the “nolightbox” class on the anchor tag to prevent the lightbox function.
<a href="http://vimeo.com/garrettstories/videos" target="blank" class="nolightbox"><i class="fa fa-vimeo-square"></i></a>
Thanks for the response. I’ve added the “nolightbox” class per your suggestion, but the lightbox attribute is still being added and triggering the lightbox function. I’ve left the broken link on the site for you to look at here: http://garretthubbard.com (It’s in the bottom right corner. The little vimeo icon.)
Anything I’m doing wrong?
