    Hi,

    I wanted the content box wider mainly so I could show the product images in larger size on the woocommerce product pages. I have made it 167% of normal, which seemed to work pretty well. However I have decided I would like to use widgets in the right sidebar on this page, but I don’t want to make the main content box narrower to allow this. I have noticed the widgets are still present but only become visible when I make the content box smaller. I have looked at several threads on the forum and inserted a variety of css but nothing works…

    Is there any way to move the right sidebar automatically to the right side of the screen regardless of screen resolution? Would the main dimensions of the page also have to automatically adjust?

    Regards,

    M

    The problem is that the sidebar position must be absolute – otherwise the layout won’t work. Kriesi uses a px value to determine the position of the sidebar:

    #top .sidebar2.sidebar_absolute {
    left: 712px;
    }

    You can try to insert this code into the quick css field and then replace the px value with a % value like:

    #top .sidebar2.sidebar_absolute {
    left: 150%;
    }

    Basically this should work but don’t forget that other users may use other screens/screen resolutions and then the layout can break easily…

    Ok, thanks Peter – will try that… Sounds good and thanks again for the help. If I ever have to buy another theme you can be sure its going to be a Kriesi theme!

    Hi Peter,

    I am wondering if there is any way to make the whole page wider or at least automatically adjust the width? That solution didn’t work because I think the overall designated page width didn’t allow the sidebar to move any further to the right…

    Hi M,

    The only page layout that will adjust to the width of the browser window is when you select the Gallery Layout option “Flexible Grid Gallery”. This however doesn’t allow for a sidebar for the reasons Peter mentioned above, it just isn’t easily possible with the way the layout is created.

    Hi Devin,

    OK, thanks for that – might have the problem sorted by just adjusting the content box a bit. An obvious request for further updates would be to have the page adjust automatically in the same manner the fullscreen images do… That would be nice!
