I installed the Avia Feedback plugin on a WP site, but it’s not displaying properly.
The page can be found here: http://dev.shanemelaugh.com/avia-feedback-test/
I’ve tried deactivating all other plugins, but that does not solve the issue.
Do you have any suggestions on how I might be able to fix this?
The issue has been kind of resolved.
I found that the alignment corrected itself as soon as there is at least one feedback item. With no feedback items, the buttons aren’t on one line.
the problem is that wordpress (or the theme or another plugin) adds line breaks between the avia feedback box links (between Newest, Popular, In Progress, etc.). You could use jquery to remove them. Add following code to feedbackbox.js
to fix the issue.
Thanks for the quick reply!
Unfortunately, I’ve encountered a different issue with the plugin: I’ve placed it on the live site (http://imimpact.com/votebox/) and while the plugin works, I’ve found that some people can’t leave regular blog comments, anymore.
It seems to randomly affect some visitors, but not others. It’s definitely due to the plugin, though, since I can’t leave comments either, but it works again, as soon as I disable the plugin.
Here’s the latest post, as an example of a page with comments enabled: http://imimpact.com/failing-forward/
