    The captions on the slides don’t seem to appear if you don’t have your IMG tags wrapped in A tags.

    for example, this doesn’t show any captions:

    http://www.ebhost.net/slideshow/6.html

    and this does:

    http://www.ebhost.net/slideshow/7.html

    Hey,

    yes – at the moment following code:

    $('<div></div>').addClass('feature_excerpt')
    .html(description)
    .css({display:'block', 'opacity':options.backgroundOpacity})
    .appendTo(currentSlide.find('a'));

    appends the image alt text to the current slide by using the anchor (a href) tag. I’m not sure if it’s possible to append the text to an img tag directly – I’ll ask Kriesi to comment on this.

    It’s not a big deal, I can keep the anchor tags and use CSS to force the cursor to an arrow… I was just curious if there was an easy way around this.

    I reported it to Kriesi – maybe he wants to change the slider code a bit. However glad that you found a workaround.
