    Hello.

    We have recently purchased avia slider to use on our website.

    I am fairly new to javascript/jquery, but was hoping there would be a simple way to add mouse over/on hover functionality to the slider.

    I would like for the slider to do the following:

    When a user hovers over the slider image, the slider will pause and not continue to the next slide.

    When a user stops hovering, the slider will unpause and continue transitioning normally.

    I didn’t see anything in the API that specifically dealt with this and I would welcome any suggestions to accomplish this in a hopefully quick and timely manner.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hey,

    at the moment the slider doesn’t support this feature but I’ll suggest it to Kriesi as feature request.

    Thank you. I’ll keep checking back for an official update.

    For now, this seems to work:

    if(options.autorotation)

    {

    slideWrapper.methods.autorotate();

    slideImages.bind(“mouseenter”, function(){ clearInterval(interval); });

    slideImages.bind(“mouseleave”, function(){ slideWrapper.methods.autorotate(); });

    }

    Thanks for the hint – glad that you find a temporarily solution :)
