My knowledge of html is limited but I've been using wordpress for a while and I used the Habitat theme to set up a site for me and my fiance, http://www.josephandlaurabeth.com. I can't figure out how to get the AviaSlider to work when posting or images in general at this point. Do I have to mess with the CSS style sheet to get it to work? And is there something I can do to get pictures to actually show up using this theme? I've tried uploading smaller pics but didn't work. I also downloaded the Facebook Comments for Wordpress and it works for posts and it originally included a box in the widgets section to add it to the right sidebar. For some reason it just disappeared. I deleted the plugin and re-installed and it didn't work.
Thanks,
Joseph

Hey,
you need to add featured images to your posts/pages. On the right site of your post/page editor you'll see an "insert featured image" option. Under this option you'll also see a plus symbol. By clicking on it you can add more images, by clicking on "insert featured image" you can upload featured images - they will appear in a slideshow if you choose more than one.Posted 2 years ago # -
I've tried that and when I add featured images, the loading circle shows up but no image. One of the plugins I installed may have jacked up the code but I can't seem to figure it out in the style sheet. Any advice on fixing it? I even tried deleting and re-installing the theme but it didn't work. Help.
