My knowledge of html is limited but I’ve been using wordpress for a while and I used the Habitat theme to set up a site for me and my fiance, I can’t figure out how to get the AviaSlider to work when posting or images in general at this point. Do I have to mess with the CSS style sheet to get it to work? And is there something I can do to get pictures to actually show up using this theme? I’ve tried uploading smaller pics but didn’t work. I also downloaded the Facebook Comments for WordPress and it works for posts and it originally included a box in the widgets section to add it to the right sidebar. For some reason it just disappeared. I deleted the plugin and re-installed and it didn’t work.

Update: I was able to fix the Facebook widget issue. But I still need help on having images show up and getting the AviaSlider to work.

you need to add featured images to your posts/pages. On the right site of your post/page editor you’ll see an “insert featured image” option. Under this option you’ll also see a plus symbol. By clicking on it you can add more images, by clicking on “insert featured image” you can upload featured images – they will appear in a slideshow if you choose more than one.

I’ve tried that and when I add featured images, the loading circle shows up but no image. One of the plugins I installed may have jacked up the code but I can’t seem to figure it out in the style sheet. Any advice on fixing it? I even tried deleting and re-installing the theme but it didn’t work. Help.

fixed it! needed to deactivate some plugins jackin with the code. still having troubles with it rotating images but i’ll live.

Glad that you found the problem.
