If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
I realize this is probably outside the scope of the supported code. I’m just wondering if anyone has modified the AviaSlider to run on a <div> as a background image. Similar in nature to the ‘Advanced jQuery Background Slideshow’ (http://www.marcofolio.net/webdesign/advanced_jquery_background_image_slideshow.html).
Maybe I’m wrong and this is possible somehow? I searched threads throughout this forum. If this is possible, can anyone point me in the right direction. I like the fact that the AviaSlider can have the dots (O O O O O) to jump back-and-forth between slides and would like to get it working on a background image slideshow.
Thanks in advance.
this is not possible without rewriting the script quite a bit because you’d need to remove the image code (image tag, etc.) and use the .css function instead to apply the background images to the slider list items.
