    Hi,

    I bought your slider which is great but having an issue. I want to have an instance of the slider on my homepage which is 950 px wide but then on my portfolio detail page have another other that is 510px wide.

    How do I set up two instances as the widths are set in CSS. I tried to have two different instances of the name #slider1 and #slider2 but that didn’t work either.

    thanks

    Hey,

    just use two different classes or ids. I.e. use:

    .aviaslider{
    height:320px; /*this changes the height of the image slider*/
    width:640px;
    overflow: hidden;
    position: relative;
    background: #fff url(../images/layout/preload.gif) center center no-repeat;
    }

    and

    .aviaslider_portfolio{
    height:320px; /*this changes the height of the image slider*/
    width:510px;
    overflow: hidden;
    position: relative;
    background: #fff url(../images/layout/preload.gif) center center no-repeat;
    }

    Please don’t forget to change the slider class on your portfolio page. You can also include different css files on different pages (the advantage is that you don’t need to change the slider class). If you’re using wp you can use conditional tags: http://codex.wordpress.org/Conditional_Tags
