    I’ve changed the height of the slider on the homepage – in style.css and functions.php. I’ve regenerated all the thumbnails. But…the wrapper_featured_area isn’t resizing along with it. What am I doing wrong please?!

    Also, can you tell me how to spread the footer content out evenly across the page. It’s looking a bit dodgy at the moment!

    many thanks…jeni

    Hey,

    as far as I can see the feature wrap height is correct. You only need to resize the background image/shadow: http://www.jenda27-clients.com/dragonsabreast/wp-content/themes/avisio/images/skin1/bg_shadow.png – in your case it’s located in: avisio/images/skin1/bg_shadow.png

    You can use Photoshop or Gimp to resize the png image (or even better use the included psd file).

    Re footer: You can fill all 4 footer columns with different widgets. If you’d like to display noting just put an empty text widget in the column.

    Thank you – that worked just fine re the background image.

    I have filled all 4 footer columns but they’re being squashed to the left, almost as if there is meant to be a 5th column. How do I make them spread out evenly across the full width of the footer?

    I’d suggest to adjust the width for each column individually. Add following code to the bottom of style.css and adjust the width values (first 3 have the same by default, the 4th column is bigger (424px)):

    #top .footer .column4 {
    width: 424px;
    }

    #top .footer .column3 {
    width: 137px;
    }

    #top .footer .column2 {
    width: 137px;
    }

    #top .footer .column1 {
    width: 137px;
    }

    yes, thank you – that worked perfectly
