I added the Avisio Sidebar News Widget to my sidebar. How can I configure how many characters or words are shown as excerpts?
Currently only the first 40 characters are displayed in the sidebar. It doesn't matter if I manually enter text in the excerpt field when editing an article.
I remember that approx. 255 were shown but it changed somehow some days ago. Maybe I mixed something up? Or did they change that with WP 3.0.1. (I upgraded recently) http://codex.wordpress.org/Excerpt
