    I want to change the slide order, but it seems to be ordered alphabetically by the slide name.

    I purchased AviaSlider but couldn’t make it work, then found that it’s installed in the custom.js

    I tried to reorder the slides by entering a leading “a”, with a font color tag set to black so it didn’t show, in the slider name.

    This didn’t reorder the slides.

    The slides are provided by a custom post type. You should be able to reorder the slides by using a plugin like:

    Thanks Dude, I’ll give it a go.

    If I may ask some other questions..

    If I don’t want a page to have a footer

    do I delete this code in the associated template.php ?

    <?php get_footer(); ?>

    I made this change to index.php but it was’n’ elegant.

    In creating and modifying Pages the

    Additional Headline (Nav tagline) is not working.

    The old banner will be kept even if I rename or delete and recreate the page.

    This info should also be below the large Nav on the .nav on the main page. It’s not.

    I can’t make anything go there.

    For the life of me, I can’t figure out how to put content on or take content out of the sidebar.

    I’m using the Dummy Data and I can’t find the sidebar text in the About Page “Features we offer / Absolutely striking design”

    Thanks again

    The plugin works.

    Is there some code to disable the thumbs below the main page slider?

    Hi Norton,

    You could use:

    #top.home .slideshowThumbs {
    display: none;

    Add it to your style.css and it will hide the container for the thumbnails on the home page.

    Perfect !

    Glad that Devin could help you :)
