So a rather unimaginative client wanted to see some examples of how this theme is being used and I was frustrated to not see a showcase post but this one that had a few links. So… I went through the forum and pulled quite a few links to sites out.
These are all public so no one should complain. (If you want me to delete a link I will) Many of these are in various stages of development. There is a large variety of types of industries and also countries. Very fun.
Here goes:September 8, 2010 at 7:38 pm #31953
Thank you LimeCuda for collecting all these links. That was a great idea. Really nice websites and designs but I would like to spot a more customized Avisio website one day – be creative!

@cwrigley how did you get the thumbnails in your footer?

> @cwrigley how did you get the thumbnails in your footer?
Yes; Dude is correct. I use a plugin called Shashin. It retrieves the albums from a PICASSA site for the main photo page and also includes a customizable widget that can either put a specific image or images in a widget area; or random a random image. The number of columns and rows it displays is configurable. It works very well for us.
In addition, I find it very easy to let the customer maintain his own PICASSA web albums, and let this plugin add them to the Blog. We have several thousand pics in Picassa and the performance displaying them using this plugin is very good.
There are similar plugins for flickr if you prefer their online photo archive.October 23, 2010 at 1:43 pm #31961
