    http://www.newsmilessa.com/
    The site is looking good LESS some crap rendering in IE9 and IE8 (Windows 7).

    A couple issues: IE9/W7
    The main heading loses it’s background color. Even then I hard-coded the div to #ffffff (in a desperate effort), I’m getting the green/turquoise shade that’s used in the balance of the site. I don’t know if it’s a Z-index (I didn’t edit) issue or what

    IE8/W7
    The heading colors render correctly (white background as it should) but then the slider seems to be failing.

    Apologies as my findings are via Browserstack.com; I don’t have a windows machine with multiple versions of IE

    To make matter worse, a sister site using the same theme and configs (to include CSS and plugins) is rendering correctly

    Am I missing something obvious or is this just another IE issue
    Thanks in advance

    Hey bpnorth!

    Thank you for using the theme!

    Please try to add this code to fix the IE rendering:

    .header_color .header_bg, div#header_main, #header_meta {
    background: #ffffff;
    }

    I’m not so sure yet about the second issue but please download the latest version from your themeforest account then update the theme via FTP. Please refer to this link for more info: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Thanks for the reply. Regrettably, there wasn’t a fix within the CSS. That was my first guess too. I’ll make sure we’re up to speed with the most current theme; only one release behind as of right now.

    IE is not our friend…
