hi, in enfold you have this portfolio ( / showing your work has never been more fun)
is it possible to get a FULL WIDTH background color behind it?
here you can find a screenshot of what i mean.
(the problem of course is that the portfolio is in a 1/1 element, which will go to the borders of the body, but not as far as the borders of ones viewport)

    Hi jelle!

Please add Color Section element to your page with a custom background color and then place your element inside it. If you would like your element to have white background, please turn on custom CSS field for ALB elements – (Purchase code hidden if logged out) -for-all-alb-elements/ and then edit your element and give it a custom CSS class then add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under General Styling tab

    .your-custom-class .grid-sort-container { background: white !important; }

ok, sorry, but where can i find this Color Section element?
i spotted a Content Section element , but no color section element

You can find Color Section element under Layout Elements tab of Advanced Layout Builder :)

    sorry , i must be blind…
i only see three thing , see screenshot:

Indeling elementen, content elementen, media elementen

am i looking at the wrong place?

i think i got it, in my enfold its called Content Section.
it works, but one strange thing happens:
if i build the page from scratch on, and i put in a content section with backgroundcolor, its alright.
the background color only shows at the one particular element. see:

but if i go to an existing page and i drag en drop a content section and give it a backgroudn color the background color also shows on ALL elements below it. see:

why is this? i dont want this

ok, if one drag down another content section, one can ‘close down’ the content section.
in this case the vine background was limited to the row it was supposed to be behind, by adding another content section beneath it.

supposedly this is the way it works…

I’m sorry but I’m not sure I understand the issue here. Could you please provide a screenshot of the issue? Or a screenshot of the layout that you want to achieve with the color section element? You can use imgur or dropbox.

i was just not sure how to use a content section / color section.
obviously its just like a surrounding div for other divs? can i put it that way?

Yes, it’s a container element like 1/1 or 1/2 for example, the difference with a color section is that it’s full width and you can set background images/videos to it as well.
